Hidden Secrets @ Bark & Bites Bistro, SS15 Subang Jaya

It's been quite awhile since we blogged so thought we should update this... Do leave a comment if you'd like to hear more from us!

Set along the same row as the multitude of Japanese restaurants facing SJMC, Bark & Bites Bistro feels like a hidden secret yet to be discovered by the crowds of dog loving Mamas and Papas looking for dog-friendly cafes in the Klang Valley area.

Walking up to it, you spot the fences used to prevent Great Escapes by curious pooches . 

Peeking in you see a few visitors. From here you see Purple the Golden Lab who drops by once a week to socialise.

Bark & Bites welcomes dogs of all shapes and sizes. However, their head chef and staff have a special spot for big dog visitors, having a few big dogs at home themselves.

Nonetheless, small dogs are very much welcome as well... Just beware of Rocky, as this little giant thinks he's the boss of all who come.... even if they're a 100x his size!

Unfortunately we didn't take pictures of their resident Huskies, Picasso and Hugo as they usually drop by around dinnertime and we come during lunch... But if you're up for furry fun, you can come play with them this long weekend. 

Most dog cafes around tend to serve Western fare so we're pretty happy to find that Bark & Bites serves local cuisine at reasonable prices. Their fried rice dishes are pretty good... and served in huge portion sizes so if you're a small eater... might be an idea to share.
